I live in an eighteenth century farmhouse on the south bank of the Humber with my husband, a musician. It is a site full of history, having Bronze Age barrows and a Norman Mott and Bailey castle, as well as views of the Humber Bridge. We keep an assortment of horses, goats, sheep, dogs and birds, and I spend a large part of my day in caring for them. My lifestyle, and an interest in ancient and medieval history, are my main source of inspiration.
